krazy_kopz In the middle of June, Krazy Kopz Poker Room inside Vision Lanes in Westland, MI will hold its $100 buy-in “Joes vs Pros Poker Tournament” benefiting Westland Fire Fighter Public Awareness Committee.  Proceeds from the day’s event will go to the family of Firefighter Brian Woehlke who was killed in the line of duty while battling a fire at the Electric Stick Poker Room in Westland.  Additionally, Krazy Kopz Poker Room will donate their half of rake and the dealers will work for tips only that day.

So far scheduled to appear are former Detroit Tiger Pat Sheridan, former Pittsburgh Penguin Chris Tamer, former Vancouver Cunucks Dave Roberts, former Miami Dolphin Pete Stoyanovich, and Linda Lee from channel 99.5 WYCD.  Pros that play in the tournament will donate their winnings back to the family.  In

Everything is still in the planning stages and I’m sure there will be more Pros signed up soon.  I will continue to update the blog as well as Facebook/Twitter/Google+ as more information comes to me.

Westland Firefighters Public Awareness Committee is the license holder for the event.

As soon as they have a license number, I can add more information.  Keep a look here and on FB/Twitter for more updates!
